SpaceX delivered a new Starship spacecraft to the launch pad at Starbase. In the near future, it will undergo a series of fire tests, followed by launch.

2025 has not been a very successful year for Starship so far. In January, SpaceX unveiled a new, more powerful and cargo-capable version of the spacecraft, designated Block 2. However, its launch ended with the destruction of Starship in the skies above the Caribbean Sea.
The next flight, which took place in March, followed a similar scenario. During the May test, Starship finally managed to reach the stage of engine shutdown. However, the spacecraft was unable to deploy its cargo of eight Starlink satellite simulators and suffered a fuel leak, resulting in a loss of control. As a result, it disintegrated in the atmosphere over the Indian Ocean.
The next Starship test was scheduled to take place at the end of June. However, on June 19, during preparations for a fire test, the spacecraft exploded, damaging the launch pad. As a result, SpaceX had to significantly adjust its plans and postpone the new flight.

And now, the company is once again preparing to launch Starship. As part of preparations for its tenth flight, the spacecraft with the tail number S37 was installed on the launch pad at Starbase. In the near future, SpaceX specialists will conduct burn tests of its engines, followed by fire tests of the Super Heavy booster.
The tenth launch of Starship is expected to take place in August. Its program is still unknown, but it is unlikely to differ from previous flights. The Block 2 modification of the spacecraft will be used again for the mission, which has clearly not been very successful. SpaceX has high hopes for the next Block 3 modification. According to Elon Musk, he hopes that its first launch will take place before the end of this year.
