In modern physics, there are a lot of unresolved questions concerning dark matter and dark energy, which cannot be found anywhere. But it is quite possible that they are only an illusion, and all phenomena requiring their existence can be explained by the fact that some constants actually change over time.

The problem of invisibility
A study entitled “Testing CCC+TL Cosmology with Galaxy Rotation Curves” was recently published in the journal Galaxies. It could have been ignored if its author had not been Rajendra Gupta from the University of Ottawa. This is the same scientist who turned the entire astrophysics world upside down last year.
The fact is that Gupta proposed an alternative to the existing model of the physical structure of the world, which described some of the problematic issues of modern cosmology well. In particular, this concerns the existence of dark matter and energy, which cannot be confirmed experimentally.
According to the new theory, they are an illusion arising from the fact that certain quantities, such as the gravitational constant, which we consider to be constant, actually change over time. There is a certain value that acts as an additional coefficient in equations describing the curvature of space, and it manifests itself differently in areas with high matter density and in a vacuum.
What is interesting about the new study
It should be noted that the existence of dark matter and energy is based on several facts, such as the acceleration of the expansion of the Universe and the rotation of galaxies, which is not consistent with current physical theories. In fact, Gupta’s new work is devoted precisely to the study of the latter process.
He claims that his theoretical constructs perfectly explain all these features of galactic rotation. So, at least in this case, the invisible matter that we should have discovered long ago right next to us is simply unnecessary.
At the same time, other scientists still treat Gupta’s ideas with skepticism. The fact is that one of the consequences of his theory is the unevenness of the flow of time throughout the existence of the Universe. According to him, its age should be twice as old as commonly believed.
This could well explain some of the mysteries revealed by the latest observations, such as the overly complex galaxies discovered in the early Universe. However, the idea is too controversial for everyone to accept it.A
